During the Mount Kailash Trekking via Simikot, the trek starts from Simikot, in Nepal. You walk to the Tibet Border from where you are taken to the banks of the holy Mansarovar Lake by land cruiser from where you start the trek of Mount Kailash.
This trip is recommended only for those who can trek in a very remote and difficult trekking route at high altitude. This journey offers opportunities to encounter lots of waterfalls, beautiful hills, mountains and people.

Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj.
Day 02 : Nepalgunj-Simikot
Fly from Nepalgunj to Simikot (2910m). Commence trek to Tuling - 3 hours.
Day 03 : Tuling-Kermi
Trek from Tuling to Kermi - 5 hours.
Day 04 : Kermi-Yangar
Trek from Kermi to Yangar - 6 hours.
Day 05 : Yangar-Muchu
Trek from Yangar To Much 6 and half hour.
Day 06 : Muchu-Yari
Trek from Muchu to Yari - 5½ hours.
Day 07 : Yari-Purang
Trek from Yari to the Shara border. Drive from Shara to Purang (3780m) - 50 kms.
Day 08 : Purang-Manas Lake
Drive from Purang to Manas Lake (4500 m) - 90 kms.
Day 09 : Manas Lake-Darchen
Drive from Manas Lake to Darchen (4560 m) - 30 kms. Free afternoon to take a holy bath in the lake.
Day 10 : Darchen-Dirapuk
Drive from Darchen to Tarboche - 10 kms. Commence trek to Dirapuk (4775m) - 6 hours.
Day 11 : Dirapuk-via Drolma-la Pass
Trek from Dirapuk to Zuthulphuk (4700m) via Drolma-la Pass (5650m) - 6 hours.
Day 12 : Zuthulphuk-Paryanga
Trek from Zuthulphuk to Darchen - 5 hours. Drive to Paryanga (4750m) - 7 hours.
Day 13 : Paryanga-Saga
Drive from Paryanga to Saga (4640m) - 255 kms.
Day 14 : Saga-Zhangmu
Drive from Saga to Zhangmu (2200m) - 275 kms.
