Trekking In Nepal:

Annapurna Region:  The Annapurna Region in northwestern Nepal has been touted as having the world’s best trekking routes. From the lake city of Pokhara, popular treks lead to Jomsom, Annapurna Base Camp, Mustang, Manang and around the Annapurna mountain. Short treks to Sikles and Ghandruk are just as popular. The Annapurna region is an area of contrasts comprising the wettest, driest and windiest places in Nepal.

EVEREST: Everest is more a pilgrimage than a trek: A tough personal challenge with a clear goal at the end, it passes deep into Buddhist Sherpa country, among some of the world’s most sublime peaks. In terms of popularity, the region runs second to Annapurna. That said, the majority of trekkers in Solu-Khumbu, the Everest region, are all heading up the same trail. From the alarming airstrip at Lukla, the trail leads north into mountainous Khumbu, the dizzyingly high Sherpa homeland. The trail forks above the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar (or Namche for short): one route leads to Everest Base Camp and the viewpoint of Kala Pattar; the other for the beautiful Gokyo Lakes.

Langtang: Trekking in Langtang region is another popular trekking destination in Nepal, considered by many trekkers to be one of Nepal's best-kept secrets. It is easily accessible without flight, just north of Kathmandu with soaring peaks on either side of the valley. Treks in Langtang valley unfold the colorful culture, religion and traditions of Tibetan origin ethnic groups on the back dropped of stunning mountain sceneries. Changes in elevation combined with the complex topography and geology have produced a unique patchwork of vegetation in this region. This relatively less trekked Langtang teahouse trekking route heads through a varied landscape ranging from ever green forests, cascading waterfalls and turbulent streams to sub-alpine grasslands and closer to the peak profile of Langtang Lirung (7246m), Gang Chhenpo (6388m), Lenpo Gang (7083m), Dorje Lakpa (6990m).
