We start our tour from early morning to sunset and the day to day program can be arranged as per your desire and this tour takes you to the beautiful landscapes where you can watch the amazing Himalayan peaks and it takes you to the historical heritage sites of Kathmandu bhaktapur durbar square and you will visit the beautiful hill station of Nagarkot famous for sunrise and mountain views that will freshen up your minds.
You will do a 4 nights 5 days tour of Bhutan the land of the thunder dragon a beautiful Buddhist country whose 60 percent land is occupied by jungle and having rich religious and cultural heritage which is very clean and free of pollution and during this time the beautiful rhododendron flowers can be seen in full bloom.
Day 01 : ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU
Arrive in Kathmandu and you will be warm welcome by Sherpa Heritage tour & Treks representative & drive you to the hotel and have lunch and take a rest for while. Late evening we will visit to Swoyambhunath (meaning self emerged) Buddhist stupa which is located 77 miters above level of Kathmandu city so you can see amazing view of valley as well snow covered Himalaya and back to Hotel evening participate in a welcome dinner program in the same Hotel. Before bed you can prepare your needed things for tour to Bhutan.
Day 02 : KATHMANDU / PARO / THIMPU
Today after breakfast we drive to airport for Bhutan tour we depart around 11:30 am and the flight will take around 1 hour to get to Bhutan .Board the flight for your onward journey to Bhutan the land of thunder Dragon. From a window seat on clear days you can experience a spectacular view of the Himalaya peaks as you approach Paro Alt: 7364ft. On arrival meet with our guide and have experience BHUTANESE LUNCH and visit Rimpung Dzong (fortress) you can take leisure walk down through cantilever bridge and to Paro town. Evening 1 hour drive to capital City Thimphu, for Overnight Hotel Druk, MAP.
Day 03 : THIMPHU SIGHT SEEING AND DRIVE TO PUNAKHA 3hrs / 77 km
This morning you will start the day by visiting the National memorial “Chorten” (shrine) a monument dedicated to the 3rd king. Visit stops in at National Library where ancient scrolls preserve. Visit Textile weaving, it’s worth a visit to get to know the living national art of weaving. After lunch short drive to upper Thimphu to see the national animal Takin. After lunch Start your drive through a forest of pine and hemlock, festooned with hanging lichens high up Dochula pass /Alt: 10142ft. This pass offers panoramic views of the Himalayan mountain ranges, as we descend along a series of curve road to the fertile valley of Punakha / Alt: 4430ft.Hotel Lobes, Map.
Day 04 : PUNAKHA /PARO 136KM
After breakfast Visit punakha dzong situated in between pho chhu and mo chhu (male and Female River). Before proceeding towards Paro we will take a short 45 Minutes walk to Chimi Lakhang a temple on a small hill top. This temple is dedicated to the great yogi of 14th century, known as Drukpa Kuenly or popularly called the “Divine Madman”.
Lunch at douchula, after reaching paro check into the hotel and refreshment. After freshen up your guide will take you to visit museum and to the dzong. Walk down the Cantilevers Bridge to the Paro town. You can stroll around the town .Hotel Uma Paro, MAP.
Day 05 : HIKE TO TIGER NEST
Start the day with short drive to Paro’s upper valley. On a clear day you’ll have an unforgettable view of the “Goddess” Mt.Chomolhari at 23,640 feet. Afterward, it’s a short drive to Taksang trail head. Hike to Taksang Monastery, the most famous monastery in Bhutan. Taksang means “Tiger Nest” so named because Guru Rinpoche reportedly flew to the site on the back of a flying tiger late in the 7th century. Between blue pines and a blue sky, the monastery perches miraculously on a cliff nearly 2,700feet above Paro’s valley floor. Break along the way for tea and snacks in small tea house. Day 06 : BHUTAN TO KATHMANDU
Take morning flight to Kathmandu which will take around 1 hour upon arrival in Kathmandu then we will have our lunch. After lunch we will visit Pashupatinath Temple one of the biggest Hindu temple in the world, this temple is dedicated to Hindu god Shiva, so around this temple you can see lots of Shdhu who are spending their whole life in temple without proper cloths and also in bank of Baghmati river you can see cremation of death body this is religious and culturally importance place. Then, we will go to the most valued stupa of the Buddhist religions, which is “Boudhanath”. Boudhanath is one of the oldest temples in the Nepal where Buddhist devotees from different country and other religions come to visit and worship. Due to earthquake it is now in under construction. Before the night and after the day you can see the devotee go round the stupa in a mass, which would be the best moment to snap the picture. Back to hotel.
Day 07 : PATAN / KHOKHANA / BUNGMATI
After breakfast we will head toward the short hike from Khokhana to Bugmati, the tiny traditional Newari villages where you can see traditional houses and experience a culture reminiscent of medieval era which is about 10 km from Kathmandu to its south. You will find the women, men, and children sitting in the street or in the common courtyards, weaving, chatting, playing and working. On the way you’ll strike with the very impressive monuments and ancient temples of their traditional architecture and their rich culture. These places are also called as the living museum which recalls the medieval period. You’ll never forget the moment you spent in this place. Then we’ll have lunch.
After that we will head towards the Patan Durbar Square. This was once the place of Malla’s king who was great builders and patrons. The square is a display of Newari architecture that had reached its pinnacle during the region of Malla kings.
Then we’ll head towards the Krishna Mandir (Temple), which was built in 1637by the king Siddhi Narasingh Malla. One night he dreamt of lord Krishna and Radha in front of the palace so he following the dream built the temple on the same spot he dreamed of. You can take the beauty of the ancient in sculpture and art in patan. Overnight in hetel.
Day 08 : KATHMANDU DURBAR SQUARE
Kathmandu durbar square is in the heart of Kathmandu the place where anyone can easily be attracted because of the ancient palace, temple and art and architect like Hanuman Dhoka Palace (Now it is museum), Taleju Bhawan Temple, the Temple of Kumari (Live Goddess), the temple of Shiva & Parbati, Gaddi Baithk (Place for coronation) and “Kasthamandap” which was built by a single giant tree and said that Kathmandu wad named after that. It is a beautiful heritage site full of cultural and ancient craft, drawing and handicrafts.
Day 09 : BHAKTAPUR-NAGARKOT
After breakfast we will be visiting;
Bhaktapur is an ancient city where you can observe the 55 peacock window place, tallest temple in Nepal-Nyatapol and other temple sculpture of Gods and Goddess. You can also take out sometime for hangout and can buy beautiful bronze and copper statues and other handicrafts Hindu deities and many other copper and after lunch we proceed to Nagarkot, a beautiful hill
Lies at an altitude of 2163m and is located 30km north east of Kathmandu. It is the nearest place to see panoramic Himalaya view from Kathmandu valley. Observe the panoramic Mountain View and sun rise and sun set view. Observe the rural settlement around and experience the fresh environment on the top of the jungle & in the villages
Day 10 : NAGARKOT TO KATHMANDU FINAL DEPARTURE
In the morning you can enjoy the beautiful sunrise view from your window it will be a very memorable morning because of its scenic beauty and you will spend some time here relaxing and enjoying the peaceful and natural beauty of this place and in the late morning slowly drive back transfer to international airport for your final destination taking with you the wonderful memories of Nepal & Bhutan tour.
